If these shower walls could speak, they would tell a story of a woman with a secret...
They would tell of the past few weeks of worry and anxiety and hope and bridled excitement over a last chance...
They would tell of the awakening showers spent staring at the once barren belly, glad for a reason for the bump...
They would tell of the fear and desire and time spent just breathing...
They would tell of the bruised veins and hurried time making the many appointments...
They would tell of the solace received in the only moments of the day when she could really feel what she was feeling...
They would tell of the past few mornings where her tears mixed with the water until there was no distinction...
They would tell, too, of her strength...and how she knew it would end this way again-the fifth time-and how this time would be the last time...
Because she just can't do this again.
